Frequently Asked Questions About Search & Browse

No. Due to the privacy of our users, we do not display postings that have been expired. Once a posting expires, it is taken off of the site.

For free postings submitted while not logged in to your Peanut Café account, make sure you've received a confirmation that your posting has been published successfully. It should take approximately 10 minutes from the time you self-publish to appear on the site. Paid postings or postings submitted with an account are immediately published to the site.

If your posting does not appear in the listing page, here are a few things to consider:
  • Refresh or reload your browser.
  • Search for your posting using a keyword search, with a keyword that is in the title or text of your posting.
  • Select the correct category.
  • Locate your posting under the date it was published (Refer to your confirmation email if you forgot which category and date).
Other possibilities:

Peanut Café is about connecting members to their local communities, so searching is also on a local level. If you want to search on other community sites, please select a different community from the home page. You will be directed to another community where you can post and search locally.

For example, if you were on the San Francisco, CA site, and wanted to search postings on the Austin, TX site, you would just have to select Austin Texas from the community list on the home page and you will be brought to the Austin, TX community site where everything you do is local to this site.

Note: Selecting a different local community will close all currently open tabs belonging to the previous community site.

  • Select the appropriate local community site.
  • If the flyer was created on Peanut Café, enter the Posting ID written on the bottom of the flyer into search keyword box located on the left side of the page.
  • Click the Search button. You do not have to select a category if you are searching by posting id.
