Do's
- Be Creative: Remember, really creative posts always get the most views. Be inventive and show us your style.
- Explore: Even though you're just here to search for an apartment, feel free to check out what is going on in any of the other categories. Your community has a lot to offer, and you never know what you might find.
- Participate: Our site is based on community participation. There are many ways to participate on Peanut Café such as posting, browsing or giving community feedback.
- Post in appropriate categories: Whether you're selling a car or posting an employment opportunity, make sure you post in the designated categories. This helps us better streamline searches, and return the relevant results without bogging down our service.
- Play well with others: The fun stops when you start seriously offending your neighbors. We are a community of different types of people with different backgrounds and beliefs, so keep that in mind when you are interacting with the community. Treat each other with respect.
- Use language appropriately: Respect others by using self censorship.
- Report inappropriate postings: We are a small team of busy peanuts, so we rely on everyone to be responsible for his/her own posts. If in the case you find a post that is illegal, offensive or violates our Terms Of Use, please report them through our community flagging system, so we can take appropriate action.
- Be aware: Always be aware when dealing with financial transactions on the internet. We have a great community at Peanut Café, but there's always a bad apple in the bunch. Protect yourself by using common sense, and read about our Scams & Fraud information.
- Have fun: Announce what you have to offer, conveniently search for the things you need, and spend time amusing yourself with the community posts.
Dont's
- Copy what isn't yours: This includes photographs, literature or anything that infringes on the proprietary rights of others. We encourage creativity and uniqueness.
- Post unlawful content: Posting illegal content is a big trouble for everyone including you and Peanut Café. Please do not post anything that violates our Terms Of Use or that is restricted by law. Examples of this would be: housing/employment discrimination, or the selling and buying of illegal items or services. Click here for a list of illegal items and services.
- Post false information: By posting on Peanut Café, you legally agree that you are not posting anything false, deceptive, misleading, deceitful, or posing as someone you are not.
- Post or upload obscene or violent material: Posts of this nature which are not considered "artistic" will be immediately removed from the site. This includes images of frontal nudity, genitalia, sexual intercourse of any kind between any parties, masturbation, sexual abuse, and abuse of minors. If you are unsure about the nature of your images, take the safe route, and don't post it.
- Scam the community: All scam or fraudulent posts will be immediately removed and reported to the appropriate authorities. We do not tolerate those who use the system to abuse the community.
- Spam: Post only in designated categories. If you want to promote your business, post in the Services category. If you are selling an item in the For Sale category, please do not post the same item while it is still published on the site or else it will be flagged as spam and permanently removed. Help keep Peanut Café clean and usable.
- Harass, threaten or intimidate: This is a venue for everyone to share their ideas and opportunities in a creative manner, so please do not vent your personal anger out on the community. If we find your post to be extremely offensive, harmful or invasive to the privacy of others, we will delete it immediately without notice and block your rights to post on Peanut Café.
